Virago 250 Cafe Racer Bobber Mods Part 3 – Just when I thought I was done modding the XV250 Virago…
I just couldn’t resist making the XV250 even better! The Virago 250 has gone on a diet yet again. I was able to shed even more weight off the XV250 by removing the chain guard, rear foot pegs and hardware brackets, 80% chop on the rear fender and removed all stock rear lighting.
The TC Bros vertical license plate bracket and light kit was a nice touch and made the XV250 look much cleaner by eliminating all the clutter on the rear fender. The XV250 is really coming along and has been a blast to ride. The bike is really light now and probably weighs in around 260 pounds if I had to guess. I may not be done with mods just yet. I really like the cafe racer look so I am considering swapping the Renthal handle bars for some clip-ons and lowering the fork a bit. The seat also needs to shrink a bit so I’ll either trim the foam under the cover or replace the seat with something cool if I can find one.
Let me know what you think in the comments and watch for new XV250 mod videos coming soon. As always, ride safe and have fun!!
