Yamaha Virago 250 and Miata Cruise

Yamaha Virago 250 and Miata Cruise – Join us as we take out the Virago 250 and the Miata for a fun filled cruise along Chicago’s North Shore.

So we finally have a decent 70+ degree day here in Chicago’s North Shore! We had to take advantage of the great weather and take out the Virago and the NB Miata for a great ride along Chicago’s North Shore. If you live in the area and you haven’t taken a cruise down Sheridan road through Highland Park, Glencoe, and Kenilworth then you don’t know what you’re missing.

This is a great place to ride for motorcyclist’s, convertible owners and sports cars during the warmer seasons.

The Virago 250 is running great after the carb jets were upsized. These bikes really wake up after you slap on an open exhaust and give it some fuel.

Kick back and enjoy the ride as we carve up some roads on a great spring day.

  1. Love what you’ve done with your virago. I’d like to know more about your pipes? Were they custom made, or can I buy them somewhere? Can you provide links or dimensions?

    • Hi Jordan. They are custom made and straight through pipes. No baffles. Got them from a guy on http://viragotechforum.com/ that makes them. He goes by Larish41 on the forum. Name is Timothy Larish. Makes them from is home in Mississippi. I sold the bike a few years back but the pipes made it come alive. A rejet up about 2 sizes will make a huge difference in power with the pipes. Look for him on the forum for pricing and availability. Not sure if he still makes them. Hope that helps. Good luck and ride safe!
